Classification of plywood

Divided by common wood:

1. Hardwood plywood: such as basswood, Fraxinus mandshurica, birch, poplar, elm, maple, colored wood, yellow polo, etc

2. Coniferous plywood: such as masson pine, Yunnan pine, larch, spruce, etc

By purpose:

1. Special plywood: Plywood meeting special purpose

2. Ordinary plywood: Plywood suitable for a wide range of uses

By structure:

1. Plywood

2. Sandwich plywood: plywood with board core

3. Composite plywood: the core or some layers are composed of materials other than solid wood or veneer

By adhesive layer:

1. Weather resistant plywood: class I plywood, which is durable and resistant to boiling or steam treatment. It is mainly used outdoors.

2. Water resistant plywood: Class II plywood, which can be impregnated in cold water or often in hot water for a short time, and has antibacterial properties.

3. Moisture resistant plywood: Class III plywood, which can withstand short-term cold water immersion and is suitable for indoor use.

4. Non moisture resistant plywood: Class IV plywood, with bean glue as the adhesive, is used under normal indoor conditions and has a certain bonding strength.
